Agencia Change Engine

Helping teams plan and coordinate organisational change. Through Monash University's Industry Experience project, I worked with Agencia Change on improving the user journey of its existing platform.

Team 188 · Developer / Business Analyst · Guided onboarding and UX

The business context

Organisational change involves different people, activities and deadlines. Agencia Change's existing platform brings those pieces into a shared workspace so teams can plan change activities and follow their progress. Our role was to improve an existing product, not build a new one from scratch.

My contribution

I focused on the guided onboarding experience, combining business analysis with hands-on front-end work and testing. The goal was to help new users understand where to start and make sure the on-screen guidance behaved as intended.

What I worked on

Requirements and user journeys

Worked from client requirements and expected user behaviour to understand what people should be able to do and how they should move through the platform.

Guided onboarding

Reviewed and improved Getting Started interactions, including how users move through guidance and find the right parts of the interface.

Testing and refinement

Checked onboarding behaviour against acceptance criteria, investigated usability issues and worked with teammates to refine the implemented experience.

What the team worked towards

Better first-use experienceClearer guidance to help new users get familiar with the existing change-planning platform.
Working togetherImprovements to shared editing and automatic saving so colleagues can maintain plans together.
Clearer coordinationBetter visibility of activities, owners and deadlines across change plans.
Training visibilityViews and metrics intended to help teams monitor training and engagement activity. These are operational signals, not a claimed measure of change effectiveness.

What I took away

Working with a real client reinforced how important it is to understand the user's task before changing the interface. Good delivery means agreeing on expected behaviour, keeping the solution practical and checking that the final journey works for the people using it.
